The Thai Wind Energy Association (ThaiWEA) hosted a seminar at the ASEAN Sustainable Energy Week 2024, held at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok on Wednesday, July 3, 2024. This knowledge-sharing seminar focused on wind energy development and expansion in Thailand. Discussions covered a wide range of topics, from general business knowledge to challenges in wind energy transportation, emerging technologies, wind-solar co-location, and suggestions for new policies.
The seminar featured the following presentations:
"Introduction to Wind Business" by Ms. Anchalee Prapatsornpittaya
"Local Transportation, Erection, Operation, and Maintenance" by Mr. Pairat Karinrat and Mr. Arda Gunler
"Introduction to Grid-Forming WTG Technology" by Ms. Qianyu Wu
"Integration of Wind, Solar, and Battery Systems" by Mr. Waron Sanguanwongwan, Mr. Arda Gunler, and Mr. Lin Wei
